SkegLineFins was founded by two bros with a GoPro on a mission to develop a surfboard fin that feels like an extension of your feet.
The Brothers: Xavier Canchola - surfer. Steven Canchola - inventor/hobbiest.
Xavier wanted to have a fin that helps him on powerful drop-ins and turns...along with stability after maneuvers.
Steven came up with a wild design that freaked them both out; so they both said, "we gotta bring this idea to life!"
With Xavier's understanding of fin styles, they both got to work, fin-tuning the design of the fin which it is today. So far, the name they came up with is tentatively 'The Mig', and we asked the brothers why the name 'The Mig'? They both smiled and said, "Own The Wave".
There are two product lines of the same design but different shape required to compensate the size difference between shortboard and longboard fins.
The longboard product line is tentatively named 'The Rudder'.
The shortboard product line is tentatively named 'The Mig'.
